Rivera se encuentra a 15 Km de Neiva y con un agradable clima de 22 grados centígrados.  Al frente del Parque Principal José Eustasio Rivera Salas se encuentra la bella iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, cuyas fiestas patronales se realizan en el mes de Septiembre de cada año.

It is 15 kilometers far from Neiva and it has a cool weather of 11 degrees centigrade.  In front of the main Park José Eustasio Rivera Salas there is the beautiful church.  Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro, whose parties are celebrated in September every year.
